Limestone County Beekeepers Receives Grant Money

Limestone County Beekeepers Association received a grant from Alabama Mountains, Rivers, and Valleys RC& D Council. In the picture is the equipment we purchased with the grant monies.

We are very thankful to get this grant to help educate the FFA students, and all other students and the public on the problems and benefits of honey bees. We do presentations in schools in North Alabama.

 

We will be participating in a "volunteer thanks", presentation April 20, 2010 at the Senior Center in Athens, AL. from 10:00 until 2:00 PM.
